hello,
sometimes a quiet day at work is nice. but it an make the day long.
we were locked in by fire yesterday again. It is pretty scary but awesome to watch the choppers flying with their water baskets. The air is thick with smoke and i am sure the air quality is very low at the moment. I am living on allergex pills currently. Oh, and my shingles flared up - probably the stress of everything.
The firefighters are working overtime here shame. The problem is the wind, it keeps coming up by mid morning and blowng gales which causes the fire to spread and the chopper to not be able to fly. Quite a few people were evacuated to the town hall yesterday. but the fire is not so close to my house anymore (as in it is no longer on my doorstep, but a couple of roads down) so i won't evac now. Hoping the worst of it is over.
