I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

Hi Lynne good afternoon sprinkle . Back into the school routine and a very busy last term.
Sports day morning had to be cancelled the first week back due to rain. So Sports day morning take 2 happened last Wednesday and it was lovely. We had got back to the classroom and the heavens opened ! I have this Tuesday off - using my Time off in Lieu. My Step Brother and his long term partner of over 30 years have decided to get married on the 1st July . I have been invited to her Hen Lunch on Tuesday . It will be lovely as my Mum is going too.
