Curious as I have seeen people doing topiary asking  for pot I.D why do we need this please .

The topiary pot ID provides part of the information needed to put in a calculator that will advise what the critter line up will be on that specific pot...so that you can plant ahead and be ready for the critter to trim the bush. Also, if you save your pots and want to redo them, for perhaps a pottery lottery quest or to help someone who is doing the trails by trimming a bush, knowing the trail pot ID  and keeping your information from when you did that trail, you can bring out the right trail pot to trim for the specific first critter(that is, if you bought more than one colour and need to distinguish between two or more pots).

Jacqueline...I started the topiaries without the rainbow rocks. I did my seven red trails and thought that with more than one unicorn on the orange and the addition of another unicorn for each colour of trail pot, the rainbow rocks would make it easier for me. So I went back and finished the rainbow of fish that I had never completed. The ready for harvest mushroom really is the best one, in my opinion, to attract a unicorn for trimming purposes. The calculator is not any good for the red trails...but orange and up it is a wonderful tool...thanks to Bram and Monique and all who submitted trail information for the calculator to come to fruition.
