I do see several peeps watering (depending on what we are attracting), but it has been far less that in the past year.   Has the active player base decreased?  Has anyone else noticed?   
I have so many food platters go empty all with missed wildlife.  I used all types of food (org/sf/reg) it doesn't seem to make a difference.   I can't always hang about to spot myself and I do advertise in News page and on the wildlife page.

Yes, I have. But times are hard, and many of the Eastern European people are devastated by war.  My fairy was originally gifted to me by a Chinese woman who was blocked from playing by her  country’s policy on social media. The US has rampant inflation. Necessities are expensive, and discretionary spending suffers. Just my opinion, and I do not have hard numbers to back it up.

Thats right Jean. I have heard they have a new law there in China that they can only do 3 hours of on line games per week. Canada has some new on line bills pass.. I can't see most of the content my American friends post from their news but so far they have not made it as tight as China's bills.  I imagine that will come at some point though. We seem to be headed in that direction. People just don't follow the political channel as its quite boring but eye opening if one does.

PS ... I tend to advertise a lot when I am playing. I have noticed lately that sooooo many gardens are attracting mostly mice and I tend not to spend my limited sprinkles there. Not sure if that is part of the problem for some people ?

I have definitely noticed the slow down. I advertise and still have to spot a lot of my critters! Or inbox a friend to please spot what I need spotted. It's started a year or two ago and has continued. Most of my friends don't even play anymore. :-(

I've noticed lower traffic. And less people staying for alerts.
I've had to cut back on my watering for financial reasons, too
