I haven't been able to figure out if it is even possible to copy and paste Garden numbers (to share alerts) from my phone.  I've tried to copy and paste Garden names to share alerts but that seems to cause others confusion so I've stopped doing that but then annoy  others when not sharing the alert.  What to do?

You are not obliged to share alerts to the Wildlife Guide - and in fact many people (me included!) dislike it when people share their alerts.

I don't know how you'd do it from a phone (I use a PC) but I just wanted you to know that it isn't necessary to share them :)

Generally speaking it's really not a good idea to share them unless the garden specifically asks you to do so. Personally I would much rather see my wildlife missed than see the alert shared and whenever I see my garden number in the wildlife guide I ask the person who posted to remove it and if they won't I ask support to remove it and they always do. For gardens that want you to share every phone is different but I don't know of any browsers where you wouldn't be able to copy the links and paste them. I would just advise caution as many people really don't want their garden advertised without their consent.
