Thank you for your enthusiastic response to meeting up, and thank you for your kind invitation to visit you in your new place.  I don't want it to be in any way stressful for you!  Apparently its a 3 hour drive from Quebec to Montreal so I think we will probably try to do it on 11th as it is a full day with neither arriving nor leaving to contend with.  Let me know your address soon please and we can work out how to make the journey.  Very excited after all these years to meet and enjoy each other's company xoxo

Hi Susan - guess you are in those messy stuff-everywhere last days of packing and moving out.  I can't imagine how tough this is for you but I suspect its very tough and especially now when you are kind of in limbo between places with home not feeling like home any more and your new place feeling very 'new' and unhomely.  I hope that by this time next week you are settling in nicely and feeling positive.
When you feel more settled, let me know your thoughts on us meeting up.  I don't imagine your travelling to Quebec is on your radar for any reason.  We can try to find a way to get to Montreal but once there what would you like us to do.  Are you happy for us to visit you in your home?  Or would you prefer to meet at a cafe or restaurant?  If its too hard to write your thoughts down and you would prefer to talk, my phone is  64 27 349 7287 xoxoxoxoxox

I'll be honest - I'd love to meet you.  I have no idea how possible that is but its the closest I'll ever be to you I think so I'd never forgive myself for not making it happen if it could happen.
We get to Quebec and are docked there for 2 days 10-12 April.  Seems its 3 hours by road to Montreal. 
I know your health isn't great and the challenges may be too much.  I completely understand if thats the case but its worth a mention to you .  Nothing ventured, nothing gained says Rosie xoxo

OK - that holiday of ours!!  We head off from NZ mid November and fly a marathon 23 hours to Oslo via Dubai.  Hopping on a Hurtigruten cruise for 10 days up and down the coast of Norway in an effort to see the Northern Lights.  We loved Hurtigruten when we did a similar cruise 2019 under the midnight sun.  We then fly to Zagreb and do a coach tour down through Croatia.  This is the one part of our trip that is not yet confirmed.  We cross to Bari Italy and do another coach tour up Italy where we will celebrate Christmas and New Year.  We finish that on January 1 and have 3 or 4 days to explore Cinque Terre on our own before joining an MSC cruise ship the Poesia which leaves from Genoa January 6th.  The next 4 months are on this ship - lets hope we have a room with quiet neighbours in a quiet part of the ship!  You can google that cruise (World cruise 2024) and you will see where we get to.  Our UK friends that we visited in 2019 and who visited us earlier this year are going to join us in New York and sail to Southampton - thats about a month.  It will be lovely to have company by then.
