Hello Rudy :) it's a long and strange story. My sisters car was given to me last May after my VW was written off in an accident and my sister was leaving again for the USA. They were going to sell her but found out she wouldn't sell for much in her condition. I had to do a major service last year, cracked radiator repair, etc) and we kept her in my sisters name, with me as the insured driver. This year, as they have sold their house in SA, decision made to sell car to dealership that takes any used car, in any condition. B.in.law gets too impatient and takes form to DMV to take car off their name (which is how we do it here) and then dealership cannot buy car from me because car is now not owned by anyone! I was supposed to be middleman for sale and everything was underway, as they stay 2 hours out of Cape Town when they are in SA. I then had to spend money to register car into my name. Huge frustration and time wasted because my b.in.law always knows better! Deep breaths.... I was blessed with a car for the last year, and making a profit wasn't even my plan, it's just been a stressful time dealing with these issues, which is why I took a break. It became so overwhelming. The car is being sold for less than I've spent on her, but I remain forever grateful to this sweet 20 year old Renault Scenic and my sister who has a heart of gold..x

Good morning Rudy, my hobbies are sewing, quilting, cross stitching, embroidery and needlepoint. I bought some mesh to make some new needlepoint coasters. I find it very relaxing. Have a great day.

Hello :) I had a lovely birthday, thank you. We've been lucky with some nice warm weather as well. Yesterday was hot and humid and suddenly (around lunchtime) we had thunder, lightning and a downpour of huge raindrops, for an hour or so. The food court was outside (at Comic Con) and everyone charged inside, lol. My sister said that at home there was hail as well. Afterwards we had a hot, dry wind. Almost spooky ;) I hope things warm up for you soon.

All fine and well here :) hope you are too? It's all systems go for the big celebration here tonight. The renovations finished Thursday morning (my poor sister was a wreck) and her place looks lovely! Her son and his new bride are here from Hong Kong. The weather looks lovely for today, and hopefully the wind doesn't pick up. It's a garden party! Huge crowd expected and the neighbours have been warned, lol. Have a great day.. xx
