Hi Lizzy, we have a son and three daughters, three granddaughters and three grandsons and two great-granddaughters so we are truly blessed. They all live in Scotland but spread out a bit.  It’s sad when you can’t see a grandchild - we’ve been lucky that although there was a divorce we’ve never been denied our grandchildren.  Have a good day xx

Hi Lizzy, is it knitting or crochet you do.  Two of our girls are very handy at both.  I can knit a bit but don’t do it often.  I’ve never gotten the hang of crochet xx

I think we finally met in the middle - you watered our garden while we watered yours!  I’m off to make coffee now and then I’ll see what else needs doing.  Not a lot I think xx

Hi Lizzie, the Men’s Shed is a men’s club which runs in a nearby village.  It is a club where they meet up twice a week and make things, swop ideas, hand on knowledge, do work for the community, have a news(chat), drink coffee etc etc.  he has been doing that since the year after he retired and it’s particularly good for the men that don’t have anybody at home.  He also has a shed at home and a computer and laser room but he doesn’t take anything to do with the garden.  That’s my domain, but he will help me with the heavy bits.  Today is our 57th wedding anniversary and I’m thinking back, wondering where all the years have gone.
