Do Vases expire?

I build a badger vase over a year ago. Once completed, I put the vase into my storage. I pulled it out of storage yesterday. I am currently set up to attract the badger. A badger did show, but it was a regular badger and not the gold one for the completed vase. Can a vase expire? Do I need to redo the entire vase?

No, they don't expire.  Did you spot the badger yourself?  It only changes to gold if someone else spots it.

If you didn’t spot it yourself and your vase was definitely out at the time someone else spotted it then I would contact support to query it as they are the only people that may be able to see what happened:)

I don't see anyone posting on your page over the past two days that they'd spotted a badger.  I know that doesn't  mean they didn't, they may not have posted or you may have deleted it, but it's worth double checking yourself, in case it was something else which was spotted rather than the badger :)

Agreed. My platter of food was empty this morning when I woke up, I checked what critters were spotted, amongst them a badger...emptied the plate and put new food out. I hardly ever read all the notes and often there are none. It only occurred to me after I did that, that the badger that was spotted overnight should have been a gold one...as I said, I will wait for one more badger to show and then contact support. :)

Was it spotted?  It wouldn't show as gold if it was missed.

It's worth dropping them a line if the next one isn't gold, but I would lay odds that it will be :)
