Ok, so for an example, I am in a fairyland friends garden, I see I can spot a critter. I wait and sprinkle (with the info alert) . and the next thing I know the critter was spotted already quite a few minutes ago. Yet it gave an alert to say we can still spot it. Unless I am wrong here. Not sure

Hi Jessica - when you say it was spotted, was it actually spotted by someone or showing as being missed?  When you are watering after an alert has tripped, let’s say a 10 minute alert, it doesn’t mean that the critter will turn up in 10 minutes time or that it will stay for 10 minutes, it means that at some point in the next 10 minutes the critter will show up to feed.  If you want to guarantee that you spot the critter you need to know the minimum stay time for that critter.  Chicks for example are listed as 5 minutes or less and can literally only stay on the plate for 1 minute so you need to be watering at 55 sec intervals to guarantee the critter is spotted.  Hope this helps
