Anyone has tips or tricks on how to write or remember how the cards are placed in the garden? guess I'm not very good at it lol

I just took a notebook.  Drew 2 lines to make 3 columns.

Then I listed what I had in each spot.  When a helper comes, I write TL or TH for too low or too high.  Make  a card change and note the new card, thereby narrowing what I need.

When my caucus critter comes, I circle it and put an X on my notes above so I don't get confused, then I wait to see what comes on the circled card as I start the next round.

So for instance, I have:

Ace - TL
10 - TH
2 - TL
8 with a circle then TH
2 - TL
6 - TH
3 with a circle -- waiting on this now for high or low

I list all cards from Ace through King for each position (Left, Middle, Right).  I underline the card currently in the spot, and when I get the "too high" or "too low" I cross off all the cards that are eliminated...  I like to start with a middle card, like 7, so that I can eliminate a lot of cards in one go....

So, for example...  I start with 7...   
A, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, _7_, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K
If I get a "too low" critter, I can cross out A through 7...  If I get a "too high" critter, I can cross off 7 through K
Then I try whatever cards I have that fit in the remaining cards  :)

Once I have the caucus race critter spotted, I restart the list again for that position (Left, Middle, Right)

I've just kept it really simple.  I've written down two lines for each Caucus Race wildlife on a sheet of paper:

Dodo
Higher than  4
Lower than  8

I do that for all three, one underneath the other, and as I narrow it down I cross out the older figure and replace it with the new.

Underneath, I jot down notes of where to move my current plants around to next, or which card to harvest when the next one is ready, and cross them out as I do them.

It doesn't need anything more complicated than that :)

Are those that are doing the Alice challenge, missing not having the greenhouses yet?  Many aren't doing topiary's anymore so I am thinking many don't have it yet....

I haven't got a greenhouse, and I'm doing fine.

Can you have more than 3 cards in your garden and still attract helpers?
