I don't understand the candy challenge. I need to get the third one . Ive been on this for months . Can't even get one complete . Please help.

Hi Margaret - assuming that you have not changed your current arrangement of candies you know your yellow round ball is the correct shape and colour because you are getting green chocobugs.  Hopefully you have kept notes on what shape candies were in the first position when you attracted a red chocobug and what was in the third position when you attracted a blue chocobug.  For those candies you had the correct shape but not the correct colour.  So it is a matter of replanting the shapes until you get the colour that you need - best done by hunting the candy critters that drop the seeds for the shape you need.  When you are attracting orange green and indigo chocobugs you will have the right combo to attract violet chocobugs.  The next step is that you can get a rainbow seed planted - you may want to pop back into forums at that time to check up what to do then :)

Just to be clear hold onto your yellow round ball and just change the other candies to get the right combo!

So now I have a rainbow plant , now what do I do ?

You basically start the testing again, to find the new set you'll need.  Find the correct position for the rainbow, then work out the other two plants you need.  The clues you are given are the same as when you were doing the violets, but because the rainbow changes everything you need to work them out from scratch.
