Dino eggs and the rule of left to right

I had 2 eggs and the one on the right hatched first.
I haven't seen any discussion on this - is there a right to left rule for dinos or are eggs programmed separately?
Any observations?

I had one steg and 1 diplo and the diplo hatched first although it was on the right. I can't see any pattern.

I had 2 diplo and the (newest) one on the right cracked first. I would have thought the oldest one would have cracked first.

When i've had 2, its usually the one on the left that cracks first for my garden.

Interesting.
Next time I've got 2, I'll put the newest one on the left and see what happens.
If it's still the one on the right, I want to try swapping them over during the alert to see if it's still the one on the right or connected directly to the egg.

I've seen 2 different colours & had 2 different colours, anyone can hatch. I just had 3, the 3rd from left hatched :)

Maybe it is random but the alert is linked directly to the egg, as part of how twins are avoided

Yes, again just had 3rd spotted, perhaps it is the most recent? No idea as I move them around :)

So far as I have observed it in my garden, it seems the alert is tied to the egg and thus the left to right rules don't apply. Sometimes egg to the left cracks, sometimes some other (talking about same type eggs now). If you use two types of nests for the same egg, it is usually the one better suited which will crack first (logically, as the dinos hatch 5 times more easily from those)
