Candies Get Harder Over Time?

It seems from my frustrated experience that the algorithms for the candies is not really random but set to become harder as one advances. Am I nuts or has anyone else had this experience?

Lol I don't know but I do understand what you are saying .random has taken on a new meaning, you can randomly find every candy colour but not the one you need , in every other challenge you can feel confident that by having the correct set up the animal that you want to come will come at some point, but not with this challenge.

It gets harder as you go on because you're aiming for particular colours and shapes. To begin with you can experiment with any plant, but as you progress and start to aim for particular shapes then it feels harder because targeting specific colours can take more time than using random plants. You're narrowing down the plants which will work, which narrows down the ones you target.

I keep telling myself that Tracey but how many times can I get the wrong colors over and over? I gave up on the devils because I had mistakenly harvested the correct color and shape and then taken six weeks to try and get it back to no avail. That was a sad mistake.

When the bud shape and direction was discovered to narrow down the flower colour, I questioned the randomness of it too. If there was a 50/50 chance of getting the colour you want, but you kept getting the one you didn't over and over again, yes it seemed to not be random at all.

I agree with all 3 of you. I also keep getting the same colors. I am on my last rb critter, thankfully, but it has been a struggle. A lot of blue gems, gone, used up. Pots used. It is difficult to say the least. Let alone waiting 12 hrs to see if we get the correct color. Random? dunno. Yet I push on for that elusive color that will show up when it wants to. lol.

Thanks Janice and Paula for understanding. I really don’t care if I finish the challenge. I just want more fun as I do it. I play for fun not challenge and in many ways the candies are easy peasy fun. But the “randomness” or getting of same colors is making it not. I may let it go and just play for the holidays like I did for years. Which means I’ll buy less gold and Stat Dust for the developers.

Was so excited when the candies were released ~ and enjoyed doing them up to violet ~ have really struggled doing them all again to get rainbows. Still haven't finished them. Every single candy took me 6th or 7th colour to get right one !! Am I just unlucky ? Really wish the rainbows had been released at the same time. The fun seems to be fading right now. But would really like to finish them. So plodding on hahaha !!
