Hi, How many plants can you have attracting a butterfly (sparkling) at a time? Is it 2?

I'm pretty sure you can have as many you can fit in your garden.... but you can't have more than 1 chrysalis at a time unless it's a rainbow butterpillaflora x

You can have s many as you want - but you'll need to wait for each one to become FG before you get the caterpillar attached to the next one, unless you are using rainbow butterpillaflora.

Thank you for responding Corinne, Yes, I know I can have a few and when to grow them. I had two sparkling, grew another and it didn’t say it was attracting a butterfly, just fully grown so I’m assuming it’s two maximum at any onetime. I just wanted to check x

Thanks Claire, I got a fully grown one that didn’t say attracting a butterfly when I had two others attracting a butterfly. I thought the newly full grown one may change to attracting a butterfly when a butterfly was spotted but it didn’t xx

If you attach a chrysalis to it, it will sparkle. If your plant went to FG without sparkling, eitheryou didn't spot the required caterpillar for it during the time it was growing, or you already had another plant with a chrysalis when you spotted the caterpillar and so it couldn't form the chryslis, and you didn't notice.

You are not restricted to two sparkling plants at a time, and there is no maximum.

if it says 'FG' it means either the butterfly from that plant has already been spotted or it never had a worm attached to it before it went past the chrysalis state and therefore will not attract a butterfly x

Hi Claire, there must have been a glitch as I got the right caterpillar within the right time? I wait until they are fully grown before planting another.

Thanks Corinne, I had two sparkling, planted another, got the right cat within the time, no butterflies were spotted before the newly planted one was fully grown, I expected a third one sparkling and saying it was attracting a butterfly but it just said fully grown xx
