Is the only place to get them the "first, and in the albino section" ?

We get them from spotting fairytale wildlife in addition to the albino / melanistics.  You can check the fairytale tab of the wildlife guide to see how many spots it takes for a particular character.  (The most required is 10 for things like the 3 bears and it goes all the way down to the Handsome Prince from the Frog Prince fairytale dropping a seed everytime he's spotted.)

I know that I found a fair number chasing Jack...five for a seed. And I think that golden hen is every second but they are harder to find.

I really want to finish the fairytale quests and try every day to get fairytale seeds - but it's very very difficult as only a few gardens are attracting them.

Ι've gotten 12 seeds in 1-2 weeksk just by spotting jack's  (and one seed from giants).

Have you?  It's been about 6 months since I got a seed.  I only need one more to start the 3 Little Pigs quest and I've been waiting for at least a year.

I found cows and snow whites to be the easiest to spot, despite needing 10 for a seed

OK.  I'll try them.  I've been focusing on  Little Pigs and Jack!

I've found 8 FT seeds and 7 UW seeds in the last 3 weeks (and I really haven't played this week so those were all accrued in about two weeks).  All I did was visit the Wildlife Guide and bookmark every single garden from the pond and fairytale sections. (About 25 total.)  Then, I visited them once or twice a day, stalking the gardens which were due.  I actually found it quite easy, as a lot of people are still hunting for the winter wildlife for calendars and snowmen so the gardens have been really quiet.  I even spotted 3 dwarves on the same plate and the garden owner had to spot several of her own because no one else was watering.   I've also seen several plates where fairytale wildlife has been missed (long staying ones, too, like Papa Bear, Snow White, etc.).
