Thanks Angela. Hubby & I were at a family wedding on the West Coast so we had 3 days there (Mallaig) & then took the ferry from Oban over to South Uist. We toured from top to bottom, most of the islands are connected by causeways now but we did need another short ferry trip from  Eriskay to Barra and Vatersay which were absolutely beautiful. We have now done all the Outer Hebrides - it is on my wish list to visit all the main Scottish islands. I am going to Dubrovnik with the girls, celebrating a special birthday (not mine) which will be a little warmer than Uist although we did have 4 gloriously sunny days. There is always a breeze off the Atlantic there but I actually like that. Glad all is well with you too x
