a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! I hope the lightning and thunder booms have eased off so Bessie can relax. Dresden sends soothing snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending Bessie lots and lots of ear rubs.  one cookie, which was from the bakery, and yes, it was delicious! I did read a bit in between household chores, but it's been a busy day. only one load of laundry (done!), but I now have outside flowers to water in the evening. and, before that I went over to my daughter's for dinner. Ellie turned 7 today, and of course I had gifts for her. they all came from the gift shop at the botanical gardens except for a little sodalite cat figurine. she was happy with it all. Ce was having an off day so spent a good part of the time hanging out in the front corner where they have hammocks, a little climbing wall, and a crash pad. so, a quiet time for Ce. I spent the majority of the day prepping food for tomorrow! We are meeting our daughters soon-to-be in-laws & couldn’t be more excited! Closed the kitchen down for the night and relaxing while spotting critters! Have a cozy evening🌕
