It’s been hailstones off and on today and cold.  Cauli and cheese sounds great.  Michael was at the farm shop today and brought in a huge neep (turnip/swede to you).  It’s just nothing like what the supermarkets sell as a swede.  I did a cottage pie tonight with ice cream and jelly to follow.  Our twins, Julie and Nicola, have their birthday tomorrow so we’re going out for lunch.  I’m hoping for a turkey dinner.  Not long now and your long wait will be over.  I’m sure you will be glad to have it over and done with.  Hugs xx

a snowy good morning, Lizzy, and a splash! I'm having pie (pumpkin) for breakfast. planning on staying inside and reading as it's suppose to snow all day long. and, it's -3C; brrr! I hope the rain stops by the time you need to walk the boys again. wishing you a lovely warm day inside! xx ❄️

Hi Lizzy good afternoon sprinkle thank you for finding the Iguana. We had rain during the night . We must have had quite a bit as the flood warnings are back and Hereford FC home game is off as the pitch is waterlogged. Jim has a season ticket. But it’s been lovely and sunny today . So he’s miffed the game is off. Hope Dave got his ox tail  and you’re both having a lovely weekend x
