Good morning Jennifer, I hope you are well and enjoying the hot weather? It was 50.2c near are back door yesterday in the sun. We sat in the shade and it was 30c. Went for a 63 mile bike ride and went to visit the In-Laws. Today clean garage and plant some plants in the garden. Ty for the PM and have a lovely day..x

Morning Jen good sleep here suns out again said it might reach 22 deg today I. Not to happy in the heat always makes me feel sickly so I guess I’ll find a cool Corner in tge house . Did some washing yesterday so need to check what needs ironing . Take care keep cool think it’s a lot hotter where you are . Xx

Hello Jennifer, TY for sending me the photo of the pond. I am still not sure what the base is? Concrete or heavy duty plastic liner. I had a pond in Jamieson. It was there when I purchased the house. It was lined with heavy duty plastic although that started to leak and I was always topping the water up. I kept goldfish in there for some time until the birds decided to take up fishing. I have the perfect place to establish a pond here at Rye. It even has a wooden walkway going over it. The previous owners stopped using it as a pond as they had small grandchildren and were frightened that it might be a drowning hazard. It would be the perfect place for me to establish a Fairy Village with a pond. Enjoy your new day!
