On the acreage I lived at before I moved here we often had deer in the field next to us.  Once in awhile they came pretty close to the house.  I miss being in the country for enjoying nature but it's so much easier for me living in town now that I'm getting older.  I occasionally have a nice country drive to satisfy my need to connect to nature.
For as wonderful and sweet my fluffy Ragdolls and Shelties are their fluffy fur makes extra cleaning work and grooming.  Still, they are more than worth it!  :)
