When you're waiting, on pins and needles, to see if the twin will show up and another critter pops up on that other plate and you dump and refill..how long could it be before you ought to give up on a twin?

if the first already came you won't get a twin, if it wasn't too late wills still be the first feed.

as soon as "another critter pops up on the other plate" you can give up, if a twin is going to come it is always going to be the very next animal spotted on the other tray, if something else comes there is no chance of a twin.

probably a dumb question, but are you dumping for a twin .....or before the first baby alert pops up.....because if a critter comes after the first baby is spotted....to the other plate, and it isn't another baby then you don't get a twin......or am i misunderstanding ? x

Oh..ok..I must have misunderstood something about dumping. Can you tell me when the "dumping quickly" is used, in regards to twins?

I just looked at your garden, if you are still trying for a twin on the second tray, you won't get one, the original baby was spotted 35 minutes ago and the food on the other tray is five minutes old so it was put out after the baby bubble was gone and it can't get programmed for a "twin"

Jessica and Gaelic Has Gone Cuckoo!!11 years, 11 months ago

if something comes before the bubble breaks it is safe to dump other wise it is a waste.

Kerry, that only works for the original baby.  If you had gotten the hedgehog first you could have dumped and tried again.  But once the baby is spotted the only way for a twin is if it has already been programmed on the second tray.

OK, I guess I get it. ALL the food must be kept new, until the baby arrives. ..and if I have to dump a plate, that will be a guarantee the baby will appear on the other plate, right?

its never a guarantee, but if you dump any mice and dragons....then just keep your fingers crossed and hope!! i get pegasus and unicorns coming in after my first babies have been spotted but have success about 70 percent of the time with twins x
