It looks as if you missed day 7.

I have two of them in my storage even if I don't want the pot I make a point of hunting for one to turn my lights on,

The day 7 pot is a repeat of one from 2015, so you cannot rely on having one (or more) in storage as you could have earned it then.

Have just come back from holidays & restarted for festive critters. I have found my festive duck for day 1 but cannot see where my garland light is lit up. Have I done something wrong? Could someone please check my garden?

It's the green holly leaves at the bottom of the garland on each side for day 1. They are lit (you can see by comparing them to other holly leaves on the garland - the lit ones are a brighter green).

If you count each of the lights on the garland there are only 27 including the big central one.
I have noticed that the lights light up one day behind the each critter being spotted - so the first set of holly leaves didn't light up until I spotted Day 2 critter.
I have just spotted Day 11 critter this morning and am wondering why no light has been lit and it has just occurred to me that maybe the holly leaves need 2 days worth of critters to be spotted before they light up.
If you count each light and make the holly leaves 2 and the big central holly 2 as well the total comes to 31.
Does that makes sense to anyone else?

I haven't worded the above terribly well - what I mean is the holly leaves appear to require one critter for the leaves and the next critter for the berries.
Which is why I thought it was a day behind, because it wasn't immediately obvious that anything was lit until the berries were too.
