Has anyone else got a problem with the calendar? I was on No 4 yesterday..Today its jumped to number 8  instead of 5. It wont open either. Tells me  I have to wait until the 8th. I really don't want to miss out on pots 5.6.7. Any ideas??

I looked at your garden and the 7th fairy light is lit ( the reddish round ball ) Is it possible you opened the calendar twice a day as it can be opened every 12 hours?

It's not letting me open twice a day. It opens for 12 then closed for 12.
I also managed to miss out on days that way :(

I just looked the 1st is lit the butterfly is not because I know I missed that one. then 3 and 4 is lit. I know exactly what numbers I have opened. its weird

Joyce, the only piece of your garland which isn't lit is Day 4 (and the Day 8 that you are currently working on).  You are only able to have the door open for 12 hours and closed for 12 hours because we can only be 2 days ahead of the actual date.  So, you must be mistaken about the day you're supposed to be on.  (If it's any consolation, this seems to be a common mistake because people just open the door when they can without actually noting that they are getting ahead until it stops letting them get even further ahead. :)  There have been several to post in here thinking they've had a glitch when they've had all the garland pieces lit up as proof they've done each day. :) )

(To clarify -- the holly leaves were Day 1.  The holly berries were day 2.  Day 3 was the candy cane, while Day 4 was the butterfly which you state isn't supposed to be lit (and isn't).  The piece for Day 5 is the flower, Day 6 is the snowflake, Day 7 is the red bauble, and you're now up to Day 8's butterfly.)

Rachel, it's also difficult to determine if the lights in the garland are actually lit or not. For those with imperfect sight, or coloration issues on their screens, or those set to specific resolution for visual impairment, and those using cell phones exclusively, it's almost impossible to see any actual difference between unlit and lit. I believe that's contributing to confusions.

People can always ask others to check - they difference is quite clear to most of us :)
