Blossom crown hummer

Please, can anyone advise, why am I not attracting the blossom crown on my plate, not a single one from this plate so far , x

It's just that they are the rarest of the hummingbirds and you are attracting two others, plus the griffin and phoenix (and macaws, though partially deterred). It's normal for them to be difficult and show up infrequently.

If you have the seed, you could try increasing attraction specifically for the BCH by using a second enchanted amethyst in place of the herb. You might find you get macaws that way, but you'd have stronger BCH attraction which might balance it out.

Thanks Claire, I’ll give it a go, I’ll take the herb out. Just a thought, is it possible to lose the ruby, not the enchanted one, would it work do you think. Xx

You need both of them, as listed in the Wildlife Guide, so it won't work if you remove one.

Ok, I’ve taken the herb out, and I’ve used my last enchanted amethyst seed, I’m hoping, lol, thank you. X

Well, the flippin parrot is straight in, I only lost the herb 10 mins ago.x

One herb isn't 100% deterrent, so it may have been programmed in anyway.

Oh, right, I’m dying to see what’s next, lol, watch this space. Xx

Up to now, I got....parrot, ach. Parrot and mouse, two more feeds left, not one blossom from this plate.
I think the herb should def. stay in, for future reference. It’s a lesson though. X
