How do people know when a critter is due ?? I see alot of messages say "" i came by to water but nothing was due "

It generally comes with experience and knowing what the garden is attracting, when was the last critter spotted on the plate, how long ago did someone just water, are they long stay or short stay critters etc. For a common critter like a mouse, their minimum stay time is 55 mins - if there has been a mouse spotted on a plate and it had arrived 30 minutes ago, you know that nothing else can turn up on that plate for at least 25 minutes. Knowing the maximum times between feeds on the different foods can also determine how likely there may be a critter on the plate
