Since my last question, I did get a pearl birthstone.  NOW I am wondering who plants the baby seed?  A critter spotted in my garden or one I spot in another garden or random?

Yes, one spotted in your garden.  Every 10th of whatever critter you're looking at, plants the baby.. In the case of the pearl - its either a baby pushmi, koala or ostrich.

How long does it take for a baby to hatch? I have had a baby bull for ages and nothing yet. I have veggies on a low feeder. Is that all I have to do?

Your only problem, Cynthia, is that you have no deterrent for the mice and mallards. Zodiac babies are classed as "very rare" and the mice and mallards are common. If you plant a mushroom you should have more luck.

Yes, that's all that is needed. How long it actually takes depends on how much competition there is in the garden for that food.

Having said that, you don't "have" to plant a mushroom. Even without one, your baby will come eventually. But it'll come quicker if you reduce the competition.
