no you can't.  you need to spot fairytale "wildlife" in other gardens to get the seeds.

You can also get fairytale seeds from spotting the albino / melanistic wildlife -- the first and every 10th you spot in other gardens drops a seed. :)

I've drawn a blank with fairytale seeds.  I'd love to be able to finish the fairytales but  haven't had a seed for well over a year now.

The thing is, you just won't get them randomly. But the gardens are out there, so it just needs some focused hunting - going though the adds regularly, keeping the good gardens in tabs and watering when due. Personally I don't check which critter gives me seed next, hunting just one is stressful as there might be just one or two gardens around, so I hunt all and get seeds from all eventually :)

I do that.  I also water any garden that I come across that's set up for Fairytales (or underwater - same problem!) but they don't come.  I'm waiting to do the Three Billy Goats fairytale but don't have enough seeds.

You will find that many of the FT gardens have regular visitors who mostly also have FT gardens. Save them in your favorites and go through them every day. Leave open the ones that are due or close to being due. Most FT gardens use SF.
