Hi Sweet Lady Denece,  I hope all is well there on your edge of the world☺️ I hear you talking about your father and I know that working with elderly people can be challenging. There are always some special circumstances. My mom is 96, very stubborn and getting quite forgetful. having a conversation with her can be very challenging and can get messy very quickly. Once that happens there is no getting it straight. Frustrating! I love her and want her with me as long as possible, but as you know, sometimes the mind has a mind of its own, which I feel guilty about because sometimes my thoughts go negative, and I am ashamed of myself, but I have to accept that those occasional thoughts are normal and I quickly move past them.  if she goes before I do, I will miss her terribly, quirks and all, so I can only imagine that the relationship with your father is complex and I have compassion for all of you.

Hi Denece, you have a wonderful family and a variety to to boot. The story about Lanaiah not understanding the phone call was cute and sad.  I can understand that it broke her heart and probably yours and grandpas too. One day soon, she will zoom around everyone with skills in technology. These little people are so amazing with the technology. They seem to take to it naturally.
Our grands are 35, 30 & 29. Seems like yesterday that they were just little people. They in the world have changed very quickly. Isn’t it wonderful how precious they are to us? Rachel, the oldest and Michael will soon try IVF. They have already tried everything else. Rachel works like the energizer bunny on steroids so I can see that her stress level may be keeping her from getting pregnant. She being 35 and Michael 40, they are desperately wanting a baby. It seems like most of us treat our pets like children and they really do. They have adopted three special dogs in the past five years and the first two have had to be put down because of special needs and it was very difficult for them because they loved them so much.

Hi Denece, wow, twelve grand children. That could be fun and crazy-making too. I hope you get to visit sometimes. We love FaceTime and use it when we can to “see” our grands in Nashville. It is so difficult to comprehend that they are both in their 30s now and they can come see us once in a while. We did go down there at Thanksgiving. Since they both live in the same city it helps a lot.
Are your grandchildren in different places? That would be challenging. Thanks makes it harder for families to stay emotionally close when there are so many miles involved.
Fairy Land has become so challenging and expensive that I’m once again thinking of dropping out. I realize change is inevitable, that doesn’t make it easier to accept. I like all the new pots actually, I adore them but I’ve lost my enthusiasm for the challenges involved in acquiring. Also spending since I quit my job I don’t have a free cash to spend. being away from the job for a while has shown me that number one I really miss the routine, number two, I do so much better with my food and eating healthy by being away from there.
