I do like the name of your "fairy".  It's very true about Mental Health.  My son was off work for 7 months due to PTSD - he is a social worker and worked all through COVID.  The patients and staff "got to him" and he couldn't take it any more. 
I had a really bad marriage - took some of my frustrations out on my daughter and she doesn't speak to me any more.  It has taken me a long time to get my head in a good space.  I take medications though.
I hope your journey is improving - life is hard enough.  Hugs my new friend.
